June 24th Saturday night we drove to Universal City Walk for our activity for the month. Some met early and ate at Pat O'Brian's. Entering Bonkers the fee was waved for the FCC. Inside, the club is two stories with a lot of African American history on the walls, chair rails, tables and chairs, large booths and a beautiful mahogany bar. There was the announcer who decided to dance with a tube top and a thong on, don't ask, it wasn't pretty. An opening act with Tim "The Dairy Farmer" and then Philadelphia who had appeared on Comedy Central. We ate, drank and laughed a whole lot. After the show we walked around and stopped at The Hard Rock Café to gab a bite to eat. We had a fun night with good friends. Those who enjoyed the night were Lisa and Dave Jessing, Bob and Ellen Malizia, Roger and Linda Luczak, Frank and Sue Stevens, Ray and Juanita Basica, Judy Chatelain, Larry and Cindy Shepherd, Carl and Sally Smith, Allen and Laura Theobald, Will and Charli Souza, Patrick Sidorchuk and Karen Blihar; thank you for all making it a success.
