Citrus Bowl Parade December 29, 2001 18 Car and 34 Members Click The Small Pics For Big Pics FCC furnished 18 cars for the 2001 Citrus Bowl Parade. We were split into three groups for the parade. One group to carry the World Little League Championship team from Apopka, one group to carry the Little Miss Citrus girls and one group to represent the best Corvette club in central Florida. It was an early 9 A.M. meeting and then a quick caravan to the parade staging area. The parade began at noon. It was a lot of fun driving the parade route lined with thousands of people cheering our cars. The announcers praising America's Only True Sports car and talking about the most active club in the area. The event was filmed and carried on ABC giving us national exposure.
