FCC was asked to supply cars to help draw people into a fund raiser for Ken Ditto: Ken was a Black Smith in Chuluota, where he did the horse shoe work for Orlando Police Dept., Seminole County P.D., Orange County Sheriffs and Disney. Ken also had a large stable where he rehabilitated sick horses and kept horses that would have otherwise been put down. He died of a sudden Heart Attack at age 48, leaving behind his wife and 3 children.

Parking was a little tight, but once we got them lined up they looked great. Considering the weather or the previous days the effort of the FCC members to get them looking good was very much appreciated by the crowd.

The Chuluota VFW post was the very appropriate host for the event. FCC's good friend Bill of the Oviedo Elbow Room did all the work and donated all the food to help raise money for the family.

In the next series of photos note the American flag in the windshield of Carl Smith's 1990 convertible. You can also see the lengths some members will go to in the never ending quest for more horsepower.

One of the people there to support the family had car trouble and could not get her car in gear. It was a Chevy, so we helped. Jim Bott quickly diagnosed the problem, tore her car apart, handed the parts to her to give to her husband and she was on here way.
It was a good cause and we all had a good time. It was also a wonderful testimony to how quickly this club has come together.
