FCC Golf Tourney Two October 5, 2003 Held on Sunday October 5, 2003 we had our 2nd Florida Corvette Club golf tournament at Zellwood Country Club. We had an even better turn out than the Spring Tournament and will plan to have both again next year. A great time was had by all as 7 teams of "golfers" headed out onto the course at 1pm. Everybody had a good time despite the heat, alot of beer was being consumed but oddly more water was being handed out. Are these guys getting serious on us? After the golf we headed back to the clubhouse for 50/50, awards and FOOD. As usual the food was good and so was the company. Thanks to those non-golfers who joined us for the banquet afterward. The 50/50 included golf prizes that were donated by David and Lisa Jessing from their vast collection of golf "stuff". The money was won by Elaine Stanley. Then we were down to the real important time of the day, who wins! Last place winners received a golf lesson from Zellwood Country Club pro Dave Allen, who by the way always takes great care of us while we are there, went to Ivar Hoff, Torbjoerg Hoff, Ray Basica and Juanita Basica. 3rd place winners received a free round of golf were John Whaley, Gina Bullock, Dan Doty & Barbara Doty. 2nd place received trophies, Jim Bott, Elaine Stanley, Bob Turk and Kevin Houlihan. 1st place went to Dave Jessing, Lisa Jessing, Monty LaFaber and Ann LaFaber. If you didn't make this outing we certainly encourage you to be at the next one. If nothing else it is a blast.
