First Annual Corvette Cup Golf Tournament April 23, 2005 We had several groups of golfers (loosely termed) that braved the elements for as many holes as mother nature would allow. Most were lucky to finish 4 or 5 holes although we did have some that just wouldn't give up. Unfortunately not enough holes were completed to determine a winner so the first winner will have to be decided on CCCC's turf, we are anticipating this will be set for sometime in the fall. Once we accepted the fact that it was just not going to quit raining we had a good time sitting on the porch drinking and talking while waiting for dinner. When the time was right we had a wonderful buffet dinner and a DJ to listen to while eating. We had a 50/50 which was (embarrassingly) picked by David Jessing and won by Lisa Jessing (her first ever). No, it was not a fix. Overall, in spite of the weather, everyone had a good time and I know that we are looking forward to attending the next one hosted by our friends at the Citrus County Corvette Club.
