Hen Scratch Winery May 30, 2009 On Saturday May 30, 2009 we had 11 cars travel to The Hen scratch winery in Lake Placid Florida. We met at the Golden Corral at 8 am and pulled out at 8:30. We made a quick stop at McDonald's to stop the hunger pains. We arrived at the winery around 10:30 am. We tasted some wine, and feed the chickens,did a little shopping, and listened to the country music band. When leaving the winery it was time for lunch and we stopped at a local diner. I'm sure we made their day with 21 people coming in for lunch. After lunch we toured the Lake Placid Murals. A nice drive home completed the day.
