| The first official stop was a picnic at Howard Park. The covered pavilion, reserved for FCC was located about 25 yards from the waters of Tampa Bay. It was a beautiful location. A fresh breeze and the shade was perfect. It was decided that after lunch we would cruise out along the bay and shoot a drive by video for the web site. As the the group was getting ready we ran into a film crew who were so delighted with the cars they asked us to stage a slow drive by for a four camera shoot. They shot theirs and we shot ours. It was later rumored that Steven Speilberg was involved. Rumors that Stanley Kubrik had risen from the dead to direct were never confirmed. |
