Mystery Caravan To St. Petersburg Beach - August 11 and 12, 2001

The evening continued with walking next door and up to the Hurricane observation deck to watch the sunset. Laura had planned dinner reservations for 8:30 and wisely scheduled the sunset for 8:12.

The first picture in the series was requested because Alan Theobald and Harold Lawson's wives thought they looked so cute in matching attire. Alan, Harold and your photographer feel the picture is more noteworthy for the background.

Dinner was downstairs in the Hurricane Bar and Restaurant.

At dinner Laura was given a valuable certificate suitable for framing by Jim and Denise Bott in thanks for doing such a good job setting up the trip.

Ron Lemon won $21.00 for guessing the destination of the Mystery Caravan.

Everyone was presented with a commemorative refrigerator magnet. Several of the men quickly confiscated these saying, "It's going in the Vette room."

Harold and Joyce Disler won $30.00 on the poker run with two pair.

Mass quantities of food and drink were consumed and of course Mike Damon tried to pick up the waitress - unsuccessfully

It was a great trip, for a great club, and we've only just begun!
