The St. Pete Pier Show was enjoyed by those that attended. It was a beautiful but hot summer afternoon. Some of us left Friday and stayed overnight and some of us left very early Saturday morning, but we all arrived at about 7:00-7:30 am and were the first there. Spending the morning cleaning our cars after the trip over, we enjoyed lunch at Cha-Cha Coconuts and even caught a Boat Race from the Fifth Floor of the Pier. There were a lot of nice cars that showed up and the judging was hard. Being representative of the efforts put forth by some of our club members the Judges spend a lot of time looking over our cars. When the final decisions were handed down we came away with 2 awards. Dave and Elaine Stanley took 2nd Place for Best in Class (C-5) and Joe and Bev Sousa took 2nd Place for Best in Class (C-4). We are very proud of them and congratulations again. And we can't forget that Mike Damon won the 50/50.
